BTC will no longer accept a cheque as a form of payment for a service or goods starting November 2020.

Cash remains an acceptable form of payment. Customers can also use a credit or debit card if payment is being made from our Mobile App, Fast Pay Portal, Website, Contact Center.

Electronic transactions are quick, easy, safe, and made in real-time, so immediately after the payment is made, the account is automatically updated.

In order to stay safe using online payment options, customers should ensure that they never provide credit or debit card details to anyone they are not sure about. Also, when using a shared computer, never select the option to remember card details. Always save copies of any receipts generated.
