BTC Service Update: BTC Services Restored
BTC’s Local Network Response and Recovery Center (LNRRC) has provided the following updates relative to Hurricane Dorian.
Landline services have been restored to the following areas:
- Seabreeze Lane
- Theodore Lane
- Yuma Estates
Voice services for FTTH (Fiber-To-The-Home) customers have been restored
Mobile voice calls are not completing to BTC mobile and fixed lines as well as to other operators.
Mobile LTE services are available at the West End site only
With the exception of the West End and Eight Mile Rock areas all other landline services are inoperable on the island.
All landline and mobile services have been restored on the island.
Mobile Top Up & Prepaid Bonus Credit:
All active prepaid customers have received a $20 bonus voice and data credit. Customers that are able to access the mobile network will be able to use the credit to make voice calls to loved ones and friends or use data to mark themselves safe on Facebook. The credit will expire within 48 hours of receipt. Postpaid customers that are able to use the mobile network are also able to make calls.
Customers can top up using the MyBTC Mobile app. Our *200# gateway for mobile top up is down.
