BTC Service Update:
BTC’s Local Network Response and Recovery Center (LNRRC) has provided the following updates relative to Hurricane Dorian.
Mobile voice calls are from BTC mobile to other operators are completing intermittently.
With the exception of Faith Avenue, Kennedy Sub & Churchill all landline services have been restored.
Mobile voice calling has now been restored to the Market Street & the Sandy Port area.
Our *200# gateway for mobile top up has been restored.
All Mobile services have been restored to the following areas:
- Lucaya Hotel
- Eight Might Rock
- Our Lucaya
- West End
- Taino Beach
With the exception of the Lucaya, West End and Eight Mile Rock areas landline services continue to be inoperable on the island.
Landline services have been restored to customers in Cherokee. Mobile services are available in Sandypoint.
Mobile Free Voice & Data Services:
All active prepaid mobile customers received free voice and data services yesterday that will end Sunday 12AM, (excluding international calls). Customers that are able to access the mobile network are now able to make voice calls freely to loved ones and friends or use data to mark themselves safe on Facebook.
